DeepClean Batch Code Checker

Read the printed manufacturing date on Japanese DeepClean toothpaste from 2018, or liquid toothpaste from 2017. Coverage is limited; results are estimates.

Japanese toothpaste from 2018; liquid toothpaste from 2017. Enter the standalone eight ASCII digits (YYYYMMDD), not the neighboring or upper manufacturing number. Do not trim an unknown marking to fit. The tool accepts non-future dates within 2017–2099; confirm the product type yourself. Oral-care wipes, travel toothpaste, DeepClean Shushudent mini and packages without a date field are outside this lookup. Three years is not a fixed expiry; follow your package instructions.

Lookup coverage and limits

Check the Japanese product type before entering its standalone date field: 2017 dates apply only to the covered liquids. The input cannot identify the product type or market automatically. The full printed year needs no decade estimate; results show a manufacturing day with no automatic expiry date.

Your next steps

Make sense of your DeepClean result

Use the estimate alongside the instructions on your own product.

  1. Keep the complete package code

Compare the container and carton. Record the letters, leading zeros and any separate printed date. Keep photos of both markings if they differ.

  2. Read expiry and opening instructions

An EXP or best-before date is different from a LOT code. The open-jar symbol gives months after first opening; it does not reveal when the product was manufactured.

  3. Check the estimate against your records

An estimate does not establish storage history or authenticity. If the date conflicts with your purchase history, keep the package details and ask the brand.

DeepClean Japanese manufacturing date labels

Kao identifies the separate eight-digit field as the manufacturing date. The neighboring or upper marking is a different manufacturing number.

Decoder coverage: Check the Japanese product type before entering its standalone date field: 2017 dates apply only to the covered liquids. The input cannot identify the product type or market automatically. The full printed year needs no decade estimate; results show a manufacturing day with no automatic expiry date.

What the official source confirms

  • Kao's DeepClean guidance illustrates 20180621 as June 21, 2018 manufacture.
  • The date field is on the tube seal or package base; a neighboring or upper manufacturing number has a different meaning.

What to check on the package

  1. Confirm Japanese toothpaste made from 2018, or liquid toothpaste made from 2017, with a separate date field.
  2. Oral-care wipes, travel toothpaste, DeepClean Shushudent mini and packaging without a date field are outside this lookup.

What is a DeepClean Batch Code?

A DeepClean batch code is a code used by the manufacturer to identify a production batch. It may help identify a production period when the manufacturer's coding rule is known, but the code is not automatically an expiration date.

The DeepClean batch code is different from the product's barcode. Barcodes are used for checkout and inventory management. Neither a barcode nor a plausible-looking batch code proves authenticity.

Where to Find DeepClean Batch Codes?

Bottom of bottle

Look for a printed or embossed lot code on the bottle base or label.

End of tube

Tube products usually have codes at the serrated seal on the tube end.

Outer packaging

Some products have batch codes printed on the bottom or side of the box.

Tip: Batch codes are usually inkjet printed or embossed with a tactile feel. If you can't find the batch code, check if the outer packaging is still available.

How to Check DeepClean Batch Codes?

Common questions

DeepClean Batch Code FAQ

Clear, practical answers for checking DeepClean production codes and shelf life.

Why can't I find my DeepClean batch code?

Enter all eight ASCII digits as YYYYMMDD. Do not include the neighboring or upper manufacturing number, or remove extra characters from an unrecognized marking. This tool accepts actual, non-future dates within 2017–2099.

Can DeepClean batch code checker verify authenticity?

A batch code cannot prove that a DeepClean product is authentic. Codes can be copied, and an unsupported or unreadable code does not by itself show that a product is counterfeit. Ask the brand about an uncertain purchase.

How should I check DeepClean shelf life?

Keep products away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Kao describes at least three years of quality retention under these conditions, not a fixed expiry, and says passing three years does not immediately make a product unusable. Follow your package instructions.

How to store DeepClean cosmetics to extend shelf life?

Follow the storage instructions on your specific DeepClean product. Keep the container closed as directed. Do not assume refrigeration is suitable unless the manufacturer recommends it.
